our philosophy

 

 

Founded in 2017 by me, Sophy. My inspiration comes from my love for travel and Greece has always had a special place in my heart. Each scent is carefully hand picked to represent different islands so you can have a little part of them at home.

I have travelled to Greece since I was three years old and I have never looked back. From the picturesque landscapes, the warm blue seas, friendly locals and food to die for - nothing else compares. 

This is where I found my inspiration for Philosophy Candle Co. The power of scent is one of the strongest senses for us and can evoke your happiest memories and can also be an instant mood booster.  

I use pure olive wax in all of my wax products. Not only does this go hand in hand with my brands ethos but through thorough testing I have found this to be the best performing wax out there. It burns extremely clean with no soot or carbon, fills your space with your favourite scent and has a beautiful creamy appearance. 

Everything is designed and created in house by me in my home studio in South Yorkshire. From designing the branding to making and testing the products and everything in-between.

Being eco conscious matters to me, which is why your items will arrive to you in recyclable cardboard boxes, secured with paper tape and recycled paper labels. Biodegradable packing peanuts are put into each order to keep everything inside safe and protected. These can be reused in your own parcels or simply wash them away down the sink.
